The "Bathroom Famous" story

Last night I performed a story about a toxic “mean girl” that changed my life in a story I call “Bathroom Famous.” This was part of a 6 week course at the Magnet. My teacher for this course was Adam Wade, a multiple Moth story slam winner.

Im so proud of my class mates, especially my friend Stella Kim who also performed, and appreciative of all their great feedback. Next I hope to take this story to the Moth stage. Thank you to all who helped me and the amazing support.

There is SO much more to this story but I needed to keep it under 8 minutes so most of it was cut. But next time you see me ask and I’ll tell you more if you’re interested!

I did this story at the moth 7/1/19 - the theme that night was “bold.”
Although I didnt win I felt like I did because I fought the feeling to run away and faced my fear. I got up on stage and did it, and THAT is a win to me.
